Richmond, Berkshire CountyIntroduction
Richmond is a small town of less than 2,000, and is primarily an agricultural community. A Brief History Richmond and its surrounding area was founded as Stockbridge in 1756. In 1765, a part of Stockbridge became incorporated as Richmond, named after Charles Lennox, Duke of Richmond.
