Introduction

Richmond Hill is a district of Leeds in West Yorkshire, which is close to the city centre. Leeds has a population of under 758,000.

A Brief History

Richmond Hill became a residential area in the late 1700s following the industrial revolution. It started out as a cluster of small cottages, which gradually developed into terraced streets.
